One Day Liquor, Place Signs on Town Common, Town Common/Town Roadway Use Form

In order to use the Town Common, Roadways, place signs on the Town Common, or to have a one-day liquor license, an applicant must complete an application form and submit it to the Select Board's Office.  All requests must be submitted at least 30 calendar days in advance of an event.  Submittal of a form does not guarantee grant of use/license.  Please contact our office with any questions or concerns, or for assistance.

One Day Liquor License - $50 per License.  (Updated 03.13.2023)
The Select Board is the Town's Local Licensing Authority (LLA).  As the LLA, the Select Board may issue special licenses for the sale of wines and/or malt beverages to any enterprise however, special licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages may be issued to non-profit organizations only. The license is to be utilized for a single day. 

The LLA cannot grant special licenses to:

a. any person for more than a total of 30 days per calendar year,
b. to any person that has an on premises license application pending before it,
c. any premises that has an alcoholic beverages license.

On March 13, 2023, the Select Board voted to amend their One-day liquor license application to include questions and fields that are always inquired of from applicants to help expedite the requests.  At the same meeting, the Select Board voted to require a $50 application fee for one-day liquor licenses.  Both changes are now in effect.
