Dear Ms. Rondeau,

I am writing to share my happy experience with the excellent service provided by the employees of Paxton Light Department!

Recently, I had a problem with a buried electrical line at my home on Pleasant Street. Foreman Dave Renzetti and his team came over right away. They quickly identified the source of my trouble; one leg of my buried power line was down. My house is set well back from the road, and I was reluctant to have a hole made in my home to hang a temporary line. Dave was very understanding of my concerns. He suggested a portable transformer might do the trick. Dave took the initiative to borrow such a device from the Town of Holden, then wire it to my home. I was impressed that Dave Renzetti and his team: Ben Bassett, Matt Stone and Tim White, had the advanced, specialized technical skills needed to install this device. The portable transformer was a perfect patch, allowing me to use my stove and fridge, and making no noise at all.

As soon as the house was properly powered, Dave followed up with information about how they would proceed to resolve the problem permanently, explaining everything he recommended clearly. It would be a significant project, but it was clear from the start that the Paxton Light Department guys were top notch. A few days later, Dave Renzetti, Ben Bassett, Matt Stone and Tim White installed a pipe for my underground electrical service. Afterward, they put in the cable, wiring it to my home very neatly. No two jobs are identical, and these men had to resolve problems on the fly. They solved every challenge with exceptional expertise. It was a joy to watch them work as a team. Every step of the way, Dave and his team were extremely competent and genuinely concerned about doing the best possible work. The job could not have gone more smoothly. I am grateful to live in a town that has such remarkably qualified Light Department employees!
