The Paxton Cable & Communication Committee has two (2) open vacancies. 

The Cable & Communication Committee is comprised of five members appointed by the Select Board (BOS) and meets on monthly basis. Committee responsibilities include:

  • Run and maintain the cable access TV channels 192, 193, and 194 on Spectrum/Charter
  • Live Stream and Record meetings of the Paxton Committees, Boards, and Departments
  • Purchase equipment for WPAX-TV station
  • Negotiate the Spectrum (Charter) Cable Access TV Contract (10-year agreement)
  • Manage the Cable Access Fund, which is solely funded by cable television franchise fees
