Water Rates
The Water Commissioners voted at their March 22, 2017 meeting to increase the water rates and meter charges to fund the implementation of the new AMI water meters. The Water Superintendent anticipates this project to take approximately four years and will involve replacing every existing water meter with a new AMI water meter.
Water Rate Increases
The Water Commissioners, at their meeting held on March 22, 2017, voted to increase water rates to all customers as shown below. These changes were implemented commencing with the July 2017 billing cycle.
- $8.9567 per 1,000 gallons for the first 7,500 gallons
- $12.4016 per 1,000 gallons for the next 7,500 gallons
- $13.9194 per 1,000 gallons for all usage over 15,000 gallons
- The new monthly meter charge will be $21.45
