Blast Off to Reading!

Read Every Day
for Ages 3 and under

How It Works:

​​Register for summer reading in person to receive the reading calendar.

Receive 5 Raffle tickets when you sign up.​

Check off each day of reading to or with your child.
Bring the calendar to the RML and show a librarian.

For each day checked off, your reader will receive:

  • A small prize from the Treasure box AND
  • One raffle ticket

Take Me to Your Reader!

Track reading time
Ages 4 - 12

Register for summer reading in person to receive a reading log where you will track your reading time in 15 minute increments. 

For every hour you read, receive:

  • A small prize from the Treasure box AND 
  • A raffle ticket

Fill out as many logs are you need during the program.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets are used to try to win a raffle prize. Raffle winners will be announced on August 15. One raffle prize per winner.

How to Earn Raffle Tickets

  • Read!
  • Activity sheets - new themes available every Tuesday
  • Attend a library program
  • Check out a book - Earn one raffle ticket for each day you check out a book
  • Scavenger hunts


To Sum It Up...

Participants will earn raffle tickets for a chance to win a large prize or other donated item for the Summer Reading Program.

Participants may select a small prize each day every day (limited to one prize per child, per day) the library is open between June 18 and August 13.
