The Town of Paxton Memorial Day Ceremony

Join us for the annual Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 10:00 on Town Common (rain location will be at the Paxton Center School)

Starting at 8:00 AM join the Paxton Boy Scouts Pack 105 for breakfast at the 1st Congregational Church.

Beginning at 10 AM, the parade will start at the Public Safety Building to the Town Common, with the ceremony to follow. After the ceremony, please join the Paxton American Legion Post 306 in paying respect (gun salute) at each of the three cemeteries in town:

1. Old Cemetery behind Congregational Church

2. Mooreland Cemetery at WWII Memorial

3. Worcester County Memorial Park (WCMP)

Paxton American Legion Post 306 invites everyone to the Legion Hall for a luncheon following the last gun salute at WCMP

Paxton Summer Solstice 5K Race 2024

5K fun run/walk - 6pm Saturday, June 15th     $15 per participant    

$10 if received in advance

12 years old and under $5 (Checks make payable to: Town of Paxton)

Shirts to the first 20/30 runners. Medals/Trophies to the top runners.

Also this is a family fun race: 1st family (one parent and one child 12 and under) to have the best time will be acknowledged

Recreation is teaming up with Kettle Brook Golf Club to run children golf lessons. Ages 6 and up on Wednesdays at 3:30.  4 classes for $75.00  Starting on May 22nd.

Get ready for the school year. If you need before school care or after school care.  WE CAN HELP!! 

Paxton Recreation has a Before and After School Program located at the Paxton Center School. The children can make crafts, play games, do homework, play outside and more. The program starts the first day of school and runs with the school schedule. You can sign up at any time for the school year. Open registration year round!
