Paxton Summer Solstice 5K Race 2024

5K fun run/walk - 6pm Saturday, June 15th     $15 per participant    

$10 if received in advance

12 years old and under $5 (Checks make payable to: Town of Paxton)

Shirts to the first 20/30 runners. Medals/Trophies to the top runners.

Also this is a family fun race: 1st family (one parent and one child 12 and under) to have the best time will be acknowledged

Registration starts at 5:30 in the Church Parking Lot Across from Richards Memorial Library – Richards Ave, Paxton

Recreation is teaming up with Kettle Brook Golf Club to run children golf lessons. Ages 6 and up on Wednesdays at 3:30.  4 classes for $75.00  Starting on May 22nd.

Half Day Fun Day  

Come join Paxton Recreation on your half day of school on Wednesday May 15th from dismissal (11:50) to 4:30. Please bring lunch and snacks. We will be playing outside, weather permitting. We’ll be making crafts, playing basketball, kickball, dodgeball, wiffleball, playground, games and more.

Please send a dismissal note to your child’s teacher. We will meet and pick up in the Flex room across from the cafe. Fee is $35.00 for the day. Please pay online or check payable to: The town of Paxton. You can use the drop off box at the town hall 697 Pleasant Street. Please do not send into school

Congratulations to the Memorial Day Program Art Cover Contest Winner

Both of these pictures will be on the Memorial Day Program flyer.

It was a very hard decision to make as we received so many wonderful art work. We will be displaying all of the art work on the Town Common during the Memorial Day Ceremony. Thank you to the 5th grade students at PCS and Mrs. Rauktis for all your help.

CALLING ALL LOCAL MUSICIANS!!! The 38th Paxton Summer Jam, Paxton’s annual celebration of live local music, will take place Saturday June 15, 2024, from noon to 8 PM at the Paxton Bandstand at the Paxton Center Fields. The show features amateur musicians of all ages and skill levels. Get ready for the school year. If you need before school care or after school care.  WE CAN HELP!! 

Paxton Recreation has a Before and After School Program located at the Paxton Center School. The children can make crafts, play games, do homework, play outside and more. The program starts the first day of school and runs with the school schedule. You can sign up at any time for the school year. Open registration year round!
