John "Jack" Malone Receives 2021 Small Town America Civic Volunteer Award

John ("Jack") Malone, a Commissioner on the Water Board since May 2000, was recently chosen as a Top 100 national winner of the 2021 Small Town America Civic Volunteer Award. Mr. Malone was selected from nearly 700 nominations from 49 states.
Mr. Malone's service to the Town of Paxton has included:
- Water Board: May 2000 to present
- Board of Selectmen: May 2001 - May 2009, May 2011 to May 2020
- Dispatcher: October 2009 to April 2010
- AMC Scholarship Committee: May 2012 to present
The organizers of the award and the Town of Paxton commend Mr. Malone on his service to his community, which is an inspiration to all.
