Dog Kennel Information & Application Forms
Per Paxton's local bylaws, a special permit is required for kennels used for the breeding, raising, sale, boarding or training of dogs not owned by the owner or resident of the premises, provided that no dogs therein are kept in any building or enclosure within one hundred fifty feet (150') of any property line, and that the premises contain a minimum of 120,000 square feet.
No special permit is required on parcels greater than 5 acres for dog kennels, for the breeding, raising, sale or training of dogs owned by the owner or resident of the premises, provided that no dogs therein are kept in any building or enclosure within one hundred fifty feet (150') of any property line and that the premises contain a minimum of 40,000 square feet.
